Chicago modern visual artist in abstract expressionism

Joey Korom:
- Paintings in the realm of modern abstract expressionism.
- Work that is contemporary, fresh, and vital.
- Acrylic on canvas and elements of other mixed media and collage.
Joey draws upon his education and professional background in architecture for inspiration when composing a painting; intuition is primary - then media, proportions, colors, and careful execution determine the final result. Abstraction is his preferred method of visual communication.
Painting and drawing for over twenty-five years and subsequently having shown in many exhibitions and galleries, Joey's work is represented in dozens of private collections throughout the United States.
